Heya all,

It’s been a while, but there is now a new video available from our last gig in Musicon. Check it out here:

We also have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that there will be no more gigs this year. But this is because of the good news: we are currently working on recording new material! Our new demo will be called ‘The Unflamable Man Cave’ and will contain our best new songs. More on this demo and how to get it later.

After rocking the Bone on King’s Night Marozia is heading for the Hague to bang some heads! In Musicon Marozia will be joined by Precious Wood, who will start the evening at 21:00. The night will be extra special as you can see us completely for free!

Sadly Butt-Uggly Noodle will not be joining us after all, contrary to what you can see online. We have just heard that they have cancelled due to sudden health problems of their drummer Angelo. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope there is no permanent damage.

Rockersssssss, … never been away but not hitting stages due to lifely thing. But no more of that … we missed you and will rock tha house. The Bone was awesome

There was such a great atmosphere, already after the soundcheck. You guys rule. Thanks a lot for coming and making a big party in this small but very cozy cafe.

Thanks a lot too to the owners of the cafe who invited us after seeing us perform at the wedding of Miss Mantis and Eightball. And speaking of Miss Mantis, she has made a cool video of one of our songs at the Bone: Control.

Back in action

Yes, Marozia is back in 2012 with our first ‘normal’ gig and we are going to bang our heads in Rockcafe the Bone in Haarlem! So come and join us next Saturday for a full evening of our special brand of noise in this very cozy venue. Also remember that not only will you be able to see us live on stage, but you will also have the chance to win one of the last copies of our demo Gute Scheisse.

There was a great audience and we saw lots of dancing. We hope you saw us and had a blast too. But don’t worry if you missed us. There is an excellent recording of the last song of the show ‘Kitty’ available on Youtube:

A lot of thanks to the organization of the Rob Acda Awards for making everything possible and organizing a great event. Unfortunately we did not win the round, but we’re ok with that, the winner (STEENkoud) was simply better. We had a great time and even learned some things in the process. You will hear and see more about this in our future gigs, for example at the brand new rockcafe in Haarlem, the Bone, and at Musicon in Den Haag. We will also be playing at another competition this year: de Grote Prijs van Zuid-Holland!

Yes! On friday February the 3rd MaroziA will be pounding the ears of the jury of the Rob Acda Awards. We hope that our wall of sound will convince them to choose us as the winners. But we will need more. There is nothing more convincing than the screaming and headbanging of the audience. So please come and support us in our quest to make it a rocking battle!
